Removing egg stains

egg

Two quick, simple tips about egg on clothes and how to get it off!

To remove raw egg, salt sprinkled on the area and left for 10 minutes or so is meant to be a good way to remove it, never actually dropped raw egg onto clothes so haven’t put this one to the test, but have known the tip long enough.

To remove cooked egg use COLD water.
This is because egg is a protein and hot water will cook it into the material.
Soaking and agitating the material from time to time in cold water is the best way to get egg out . . . or just eat your breakfast more carefully!
